Have you ever visited a site where many of the links are broken? Perhaps the contact link in the main navigation works, but the one at the bottom of the page doesn’t. It’s really aggravating! What’s even worse is when the navigation takes you to an incorrect page, or launches an alternate navigation set that doesn’t provide a way back. Your website MUST be operable by every user. Once you have posted your information to your website, painstakingly test EVERY link on EVERY page! To do so is good business practice. To neglect to do this defines your site as amateurish.
