Thrift shops used to be a real resource for the best bargains, however with the advent of the Antiques Road Show program, and the accessibility of eBay and the ability to quickly determine an item’s value, it’s getting more and more difficult to locate real bargains. We still make a sweep through the local shops just in case, but the days of finding several bargains a month has become more of a finding a single bargain in several months.
