Payment Instructions

The Payment Instructions section provides details of your expectations for payment. These instructions should also be included on your About Me Page. If you have shipping restrictions, you should repeat these here.

Since a buyer can protest a credit car payment for just about any reason, for items selling over $250 I do not accept PayPal Credit Card funded payments. In my Payment Instructions, I include the following information in the Payment Instructions, and my About Me Page:

Payment by PayPal (preferred) or by money order is accepted. 

NOTE: For items selling for $250 or more, I will accept PayPal if it is funded by cash in your account, a bank payment or an e-check. I will not accept credit card funded PayPal payments. I also accept bank wire transfer, cashiers checks, US Postal Money Orders and personal checks that are held until clearance.

Payment is expected within 7 days of close of auction.

If you want to offer a shipping discount, eBay has made it very simple for you to specify the conditions of your shipping discounts. Discounts are typically available when a bidder is successful on several more than one of your auctions and you are shipping to the same address for each item. To offer shipping discounts, select the “offer a shipping discount” link. When you select the various options for your shipping discount offerings, these become your default for all auctions you post.
