Way back in Step 1 you’ll remember that we set up a PayPal account. Here we will specify that PayPal is our preferred method of payment. Enter your PayPal User Account name in the area titled “PayPal payment notification will go to:”. DO NOT ENTER sales@scentofsuccess.com or I will be paid for all of your auctions.
If you are offering methods of payment other than PayPal, (i.e. Money Order/ Cashier’s Check, Personal Check, or Other) Check these boxes in the Other Payment Method’s section.
If you are using a merchant Account other than PayPal, Select “Change” if No Merchant Account is shown, and check the appropriate boxes indicating which credit cards you will accept through that Merchant Account:
If this is your first pass through this auction setup screen, you’ll want to setup your Payment Preferences. To setup your Payment Preferences, Select either of the “Edit Preferences” links.

To setup your Payment Preferences, Select either of the “Edit Preferences” links. On the Payment Preferences setup screen, Select the “Use Checkout” check box. In the PayPal preferences section, Select all of the PayPal options. In the Buyer Edit Option section, you can decide if you want to allow buyers to edit the total amount due. This is handy if the buyer has communicated that they want to use an alternate method of shipping and you have supplied them with shipping charges. They can modify the shipping charges in the PayPal payment section while paying. If you feel more comfortable not allowing buyers to modify the total, then leave the box unchecked.
Finally, enter the Payment Address information. For buyers paying by money order or check (of offered), having this information entered will automatically notify the buyer where they have to send payment to. If you do not offer these methods of payment, the information is not supplied to the buyer.
When you have completed entry of all Payment Preferences, Select the Submit button to save your preferences.
